Rattlers Session 0.5

 Hello all, welcome to my recap of my session .5 or a mixture of zero and session one for my OSE campaign. I intend to share my thoughts, the parts my players have explored so far, and perhaps a bit more of the behind the screen things of a DM. Session start: I start my sessions zeros as most folk probably do, I introduce myself, tell them a bit about my history and how long I have been DMing; then about what I do in real life. I don't go into immense detail, but I do enough so my players can get to know me and I can start a friendship with them After I do this I don't put anyone out of their comfort zones, I won't just call anyone out to go first to introduce themselves. If I have a set amount of players I will roll a dice; now this works well in practice when you have the amount corresponding to a dice number. If I have more, lets say five players, I will just roll a d6 and subtract one and give everyone a number. So, if I roll six, I do not have to worry. Sheets: After i

Solo D&D, my podcast, and what to expect. Plus a setting map.

 Hello everyone; I am back today with an update for all of you and to share some good news and what I hope to do with my Solo podcast.  To start, I will be running my solo game on my podcast here  and session zero has been recently uploaded as well. I dove into an explanation of my setting, the characters, and what I want the campaign to turn into. The setting is a typical fantasy setting; but I have a lot I wish to do in my game; create adventures, homebrew classes, and even items, spells and so much more. This being said, the games session one will be recorded soon and that will be uploaded, so be on the lookout for that. Now, my podcast, (which this blog is named after) focuses on video games, D&D, and so much more; that will spill over into this blog, so be warned. If you listen to my podcast, that's good, but there is no obligation to. Moving on, now, this blog is meant for me to post ideas, mechanics, spells as I had said, and whatever else you could think of. My thoughts

An introduction and a class

 As my first post to my Blog, I would like to introduce myself and share a few creations of mine. My name is Eddie, I have been playing D&D since 2008, killed my first bandit with magic missile as a Magic-User in BX; since then I have been addicted. That being said I have played through many of the editions of D&D: OD&D, BX, 1e, 2e, 3.5, and 5e. I have spent many of my years playing BX, 1e, and 2e though; they are my bread and butter editions. That being said, the main reason I start this blog is because I want to share my creations with all of you, and write up my session reports of my Shadowdark campaign and my solo campaign on my podcast that I shall be starting soon. That being said, for now, I have many ideas for this blog; many updates and over time this will evolve.
